Beas Kund is a beautiful pristine alpine lake trek in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. Beas kund is easy trek and best suitable for beginners aged from 8-60 years. "Beas Kund" means "lake of the Beas River," derived from the Sanskrit word. 'Kund' means Lake and 'Beas' name has been taken from the sage Vyasa, the author of the Mahabharata. It is the source of the Beas River and is believed to be where Sage Vyasa used to take his daily bath. The major attraction of trek is its pristine lake, meadows and surrounding peaks like Hanuuman Tibba, Friendship Peak, Shetidhar Peak, Manali Peak and much more. The best Suggested itinerary by us-:

Day 1 - Drive from Manali to Solang Valley to Dhundi and begin your trek to Bakarthatch (4-5 kms / 3-4 hrs
Pick up from Manali hotel /bus station and drive to Dhundi, Start Trek from here to Bakarthach through an alpine plateau, Dhundi. Along the trek view glaciers and snow capped peaks including the peaks of Indrasan (6221 m) & Deo Tibba (6001 m). Overnight in tents at Bakarthach (3150 m).
Day 2 - Bakarthatch - Beas kund - Bakarthatch (06kms/5-6)
Day 3 - Bakarthatch - Solang Valley - Manali (24 kms/ 3-4 hrs)
